…it doesn’t get much better. The closer is worth hearing but the whole thing is very dull imo, like you can tell the band has the technical ability to pull together something like this, just not the songwriting chops.

Somewhat late to the party.

These guys have got a lot of things right here, riffs, sound, arrangements with excellent flow.

On first listen, the album is a 3.5+ for sure.

What appears to be missing is the element of surprise, because they are momentarily reminiscent of Gojira, Ulcerate among other outfits, even though this album is slightly more than the sum of its parts.

The style of these guys would benefit greatly, if the extreme spontaneity of arrangements in albums such as Enemies of Reality from Nevermore, could be adopted and adapted in future releases.
