Oh wait, no. It's how a 30 year old man thinks a 9th grader thinks. Or more likely how a 30 year old man uses the vehicle of sad 9th grader to air his own laundry. I support the therapy route.

Vocals sound like someone doing a parody of Bryan Garris
|
| |
WTF... dude sounds like Mickey Mouse
|

I like the instrumentals a lot but yeah, the vocals are a lot. I agree with Steak that he sounded far better on Why Did You Do It?
People that love these guys really love these guys though. My brother and his girlfriend are all about them and we met some dudes at Static Dress in Philly that did nothing but talk about Kaonashi. One of them played a character from the story in one of their music videos, so that made sense, but yeah I guess if you're into the heated metal rod sounding vocals then you're golden.

It's hard for me to believe this intense devotion comes from anything else other than banding together against the majority of folks or "plebs" as someone in this thread has said, who are like wtf is this shit?
|

Maybe. Idk. My brother definitely isn't like that - he just genuinely likes the music.

I mean good for them honestly but rowhaus is spot on, parody of Bryan Garris… only he’s serious. I’m more shocked someone went to a Static Dress show and wound up gushing over these guys lol

its like Bryan Garris lost his voice or has strep throat

@wildcard - Kaonashi is from Philly so it makes sense that there was crossover with their fans. Plus I saw Kaonashi with No Cure, Orthodox, and Boundaries so I guess there's some kind of crossover with fanbases of heavier and -core bands.

I don't think this is terrible by any means, and I'm always game for weird vocal deliveries, but this was a bit too much for me ngl

I plan on reviewing this myself later, but I thought this was still fine lol
Lyrics aside and the weirdest vocal delivery of their careers, I think it is still great instrumentally and the final four tracks are awesome

yeah instrumentally this is fine… even great at times, but I’ve never in my fucking life been so turned off by a bands vocals.
