yeah, I'd say folk is more common in an all-metal pie than ambient due to the black / viking metal connections. Guess I'd be mightily peeved if I was a genuine connoisseur of both metal and non-metal orientated folk, as the legitimacy of the latter would undoubtedly be questioned, lol
