I would put this below Damnum and above Apoptosis. I love that this album adds a bit of experimentation with other styles here and there, but Damnum had more highlights (Vermin is my favorite song of theirs).



And why the hell didn't they put their Inhumation single in their? This song is sooooo good.

I've done some tracks from these guys here and there in the past that were solid but never grabbed me but I enjoyed this qab all through. I think the last track I peeped I think was all hail science and even as an atheist I was doin a bit of a cringe.



This was v fun and consistent though. Also for an album with not many vocal hooks to speak of they sure do go hard when they pop up. That 2nd to last track is *chefskiss*

Have only heard first 2 and this. This one is easily my fav of the 3 but I'm hype to hear the others.

Pretty good. I know the original singer came back for this album but I kinda prefer the other one he had some great clean vocals. The cleans on here do sound like ICS Vortex kinda wish he would do it just a bit more on this album cause they are cool.

Band is brilliant - only a recent discovery for me but everything I've heard from them is fantastic.

This one is fading kind of fast for me unfortunately.

I actually think those other tracks that didn’t land on this album (Inhumation, etc…) are stronger than most of the songs here.

This album has really grown on me after some apprehension about Ezra coming back. Wake Circling Above is pretty high on my SoTY list so far. That said, I'm a bit of a fanboi and probably wouldn't rate any of their albums under a 3.5 so my credibility here isn't great. They have been a fixture of my playlists for more than a decade.
