Yeah, this albums rips. I love how they implement the heavier moments into their songs. Really keeps the energy moving forward.

I love this band. They are and have been my favorite math rock band for the past 4+ years. They put on a helluva live show. This album is great and feels like an extension of the direction they were going with Still. My only gripe is how low the vocals are in the mix. I love the heavier sound but wish Logan's vocals were clearer, like on Familiaris.

I like the mix. There’s more emotion conveyed depending how they arise from the the rest of the instrumentation.

This could be really awesome. Those melodic vocals are down right anoying at times. Love all the rest though.

Their EP Still is pretty much perfect for what they’re aiming for with their sound and direction writing-wise, imo. Absolutely adore it. Not trying to diminish this at all mostly just highlighting how incredible THAT is, so if you enjoy this spin the EP yesterday

This is still a lot of fun doesn’t match the peaks or keep the momentum throughout like the EP (it’s a pretty long EP). Either way so glad they released new music

The guitarist/main vocalist does a lot of the production solo iirc, he’s a good twitter follow

I might be subconsciously downplaying some of this cuz Overhead From the Void was a single from 4 years ago, so already pretty familiar with some of this lol

Sometimes they overdo the vocal layering, but when done right, like in the 1:36-2:06 segment in" On a Precipice", I'm getting goosebumps
