'for best classic bm album tect?'
Ye. I tend to think of this album and FILOSOFEM as the tandem kings of the hill when it comes to traditional bm, alongside maybe BLAZE IN THE NORTHERN SKY. (And that's sort of ignoring anything that's heavily melodic or symphonic like Emperor or Dissection, as well as early trash-adjacent stuff like Bathory and Hellhammer.) Not sure how "old" something needs to be before it can rightly be considered 'classic', though, otherwise I'd also (personally) throw Grand Belial's Key and maaaaaaaybe even Mgla into the mix?
God why are the best black metal artists always supremacists and/or fascist cucks?

ill say aske & under a funeral moon for best classic bm. so pure

Yeah I suppose you could really consider any of Darkthrone's "Big Three" (BLAZE, MOON, HUNGER) as the stand-in for their representation. All great albums no doubt.

It comes kinda late but I’d throw Nattens Madrigal up there as exemplifying the straightforward Norwegian bm sound.

Aha I dunno man, this band never clicked with me
To be fair, I'm not the biggest black metal guy by any stretch (MUCH more into death, thrash, core, sludge/doom, etc) but even so, I fuck hard with early Darkthrone, Satyricon, Dissection and Emperor - and if you include viking themed bands like Windir, Moonsorrow etc then them as well
But this just sounds like try hard "oooo we're so evil" middle school bullshit to me.
I try once a year with this fucking thing because it's a "classic" - I will give it another go this year and see if it finally clicks, but I dunno man

This is the epitome of Norwegian bm and bm in general my brother. If they were trying that hard to just be evil then I don't think it would so so authentic. But hey to each their own!!

Agreed, this production isn't compressed enough - they should have taken note from recent tech death bands for that
And yes, if this was more deathcore it would have slapped harder for sure

Album is like 10/5 for atmosphere, but the music is like 3/5 to me considering the middle tracks.
But there's no question it's absolutely essential.
