"WE'LL ALL SING TOGETHER!!!!! FROM THE FIRST VERSE TO THE LAST WORD!!!"
Man, the fan boy in me is floating. I was about to write my boys off, giving a passing nod to their final two efforts after this one, but this album gives me hope and makes me actually excited to engage again. First listen through done, but it's already leagues better than Vaxis II

It's prob like a 4.2 but I'm happy to round up for the avg, they deserve the win.
I still like Afterman at least as much as this but it dunks on anything in this album cycle so far.

Play the Poet got me 😯

I'm still forming an opinion on this since I've only heard it 1.5 times, but it's fs better than Vaxis II, not that that's a high bar to clear.
Some general thoughts:
-This gets pretty cheesy at times but it's not insufferable like the last one.
-"Play the Poet" is refreshing and reminds me a bit of their glory days
-"One Last Miracle" is maybe a bit underrated and has a rly catchy chorus
- "Continuum" is maybe their best suite since "Willing Well" but Idk if it's better than "End Complete" just yet, gonna have to hear it again a couple more times. The very last track in it seems kind of not great, but man, "Flood" is excellent.
-"Meri of Mercy" and a couple others bored me but maybe they'll end up being growers.

The End Complete sucks hoss, the back half of NWFT is so weak, this definitely clears.

The End Complete is fun, but I do think it tends to get overrated among the fandom.
Speaking of, the whoa's in Continuum III sound an awful lot like the whoa's from The End Complete and that was a cool as moment.
@johnny yes!

TEC does have moments for sure but after Willing Well being so amazing particularly it was like ok we're done with the suites for a while this aint it.

"Radio Bye Bye" is great and you're all bad people for not liking it, otherwise agreed that IV sucks. I mean... come on though, almost all of their suites have 1-2 weak links, and this is no different; that final track is weak af

IKSSE the weakest moments on that album for me are probably in the suite yeah. But the Willing Well is some of their best material across the board ez.

The End Complete rules. Radio Bye Bye took a while to grow on me but I love that song now.
In Keeping Secrets' biggest weakness is when it ends (but technically it's Camper Velourium II which is still nearly a perfect song to me).

Radio Bye Bye rips.
My main issue with The End Complete is that it was a bit of a letdown compared to the willing well and tasked with ending the concept at the time. I remember seeing "Fall of House Atlantic" on the tracklist and being prepared for a pretty kickass time and was disappointed when it was just pointless wailing lol
The songs themselves are pretty good though.
