Is Crystal Roses even by the same band? It’s a hell of a shift from No Loss, No Love

I’m gonna try to properly articulate my thoughts in a rev, but I actually think this is better than Eternal Blue by a slight margin

Everyone's favorite 3.6 band is back!

Album rules, Perfect Soul might still be my fav but some of the deep cuts are incredible. Haven is definitely a throwback track in the best possible way.

I like this, but I think they've lost the dynamics they used to have in their sound. The Fear of Fear is my favorite release from them. It has good variety and is the perfect length.

No idea who dudes feel like as soon as a heavy band does something not heavy all of a sudden its "going for mainstream appeal," as if Kiss or any other pop station would EVER play a song like Crystal Roses lmao. Personally I think its a sick song. That's the only thing I really disagreed with, other than that im with it.

Solid record from them, definitely at least on par with Eternal Blue, if not slightly better. Will be interesting to see where they go from here though!

this is definitely closer to a 4.2 to me but I'll swing it higher because this deserves a higher overall lol. Black Rainbow is pretty mid. I love most of this though. Ride the Wave is another meh moment for me but its not all bad

Definitely enjoyed this more than EB. Feels like they've developed on both ends of the spectrum, whereas before I always yearned for more of the melodic sound. I still prefer it, but I'm actively enjoying the heavier cuts this time around.

Not a perfect album by any means, but there were a lot of great moments. Crystal Roses was pretty bad, and there were a lot of awkward transitions where the track would just cut off out of nowhere. I had to double check that my phone wasn't glitching out. Overall, the album is solid.

Crystal Roses is fine. Works well as a "breather" track but I probably won't listen to it much on its own.

Also based track by track review. Pos hard

all the reviews they've been highlighting is a lot of "spiritbox are doing something something so unique/redefining metalcore" but it sounds like it's just more spiritbox which isn't bad but has me less interested
