I need to listen to this again because I jammed it late last night, but this might be my favorite from them

stoked to check this. nice to see it's not one of those phoned-in 'return to form' albums

Yeah this album for me just hits every itch genre wise… nothing they have done before did it for me like this does and I enjoyed the valley the most before this

Feels like they over compensated and swung to the opposite side of the spectrum from Kin. Honestly wish they could’ve met in the middle with the distance between kin and this one in regard to the heavy/melodic balance. But if you just want a brutal and evil ass beater done in top form then this is the album for you.

In all honesty this is one of the heaviest albums I've ever heard. Having said that, it is tough to get through cause its unrelenting and doesn't let up and the songs start to feel like a lot of the same. Though I prefer The Valley and Kin over this, it's still very solid overall.

good album but the switch back to pure heavy does them a disservice

they had something really unique going
