can't lie, this one ranks on the lower end of Matt S's oeuvre for me. (still a 4, which goes to show how high the bar is.) it's def Effluence's gimmickiest release, and i can't help but feel like he ~cheated~ a bit with the whole piano thing. the pianos are so distorted sometimes they basically sound like guitars...

yea I agree, it rules obviously but I’d put a bunch of his other releases over this, it’s kind of one-note in comparison. once the initial excitement of the gimmick wears off it has the least to chew on/come back to imo. last track is super cool
