Good album imo, best ATR in a long while. The new lineup is definitely trying to capture some of that oldschool ATR magic, while bringing in some new techy playing and grooves in the mix.

Album surprised me. Way better than the butt rock they’ve been making for the last 12 years.

This band was always one chorus or clean section from butt rock even when they were good

even when they were good they were borderline just Killswitch-lite. Phil was doing clean singing on Alive or Just Breathing but he sounded indistinguishable from Jesse lol

This album is pretty sweet. The riff style is a lot different than they have had but it still sounds true to their sound and fresh like they needed at this point. The rhythms are more dynamic in general

This is so bland. Shame - Fall of Ideals and This Darkened Heart are great. Disliked Overcome and then gave up listening to any of the others until now, so can't comment on how this compares to their other recent efforts.
