while i really dig this, i am struggling to find what any of the other band members are bringing to the table, to me personally this feels like a more melodic saosin or less experimental Circa Survive, and i dont know if that is a good thing or not

Yeah, for me this is very good but it never reaches the heights or the same kind of special place the music from the other bands these guys originate from creates

This is solidly enjoyable. We'll see what grows for me...right now Fatal deluxe is probably my favorite, but nothing hits the heights of permanent rebellion

I can agree that Greens vocals can be a bit too much sometimes

Been growing out of Green’s vox for some time now. Especially that screeching and raspy thing he does often now. Instrumentally this is kinda boring, nothing memorable.

Thought the debut was mid, hope this is better [43]

This is better than their debut

The title track, closing track and Machines are maybe the early standouts for me. [2]

thought the acapella in the intro was gonna go on for like half the song the way yall made it sound lmao, great song imo
t/t might be their new best. most of these are really strong tbh but i probs still prefer Past Lives. Antibodies - It Takes Time is just so fun/jam packed

i will say, i think the rasp is overused, especially at this point/on this album (was very cool when he started exploring with it late circa into boom done era) but at the same time there's You Deserve To Be Haunted where his harsh vox are some of the best he's put out

I like Anthony’s semi-androgynous timbre. I also dig how this band is a perfect supergroup where you can pick up bits and vibes of each component but the whole itself is something entirely separate. There’s a lot of C&C flavor and some MCR to the riffier bits, thick atmosphere of Thursday’s rhythm section, plus AG is just so prolific he sounds like himself.

yeah i loved this, singles were probably the weakest and they fit into the album really nicely regardless. closer and holograms are my other early standouts but i liked every song
