that opener is a heater tho by far my fav here lol. that's what the rest of the album should've been like. love the more middle eastern focused sections.



i kept waiting for some heavy thick doom riffs. way more droney than i expected. a lot of the builds were a bit repetitive and similar throughout. pretty interesting attempt though, i respect something like this. i like checking new interesting things out and this is def that. kinda just makes me want to listen to om though lol.

You should check Grails too, Futures! The early stuff like "Burning Off Impurities", is more laid back than this, definitely no heavy riffing there, but great atmosphere and instrumentation.

I remember seeing these guys playing about 6-7 years ago in a small cafe for a handful of people here in my hometown. Great gig, bought the Exile to Beyn Neharot vinyl for about 10 euros from them, couldn't believe the price lol. Happy to see them growing over the years. Also, I'm stoked to have my band and I opening for them in Berlin in April. Will definitely buy this LP.
