That's brutally evil Jespy, and I approve it.

This is just another case of bad Internet hyped album being bad, and it's good cause it's "artsy" and "abstract". The songs are just pale versions of Ptolemaea. That actually had interesting climaxes and captivating vocals that where haunting and alluring.

while i loved preacher's daughter, i dont feel this at all. way too much drivel for my taste, but then again I dont enjoy ambient music so

"If you take out Perverts, Houseofwhatever and Pulldrone this is an excellent album"

I tend to agree with this, nice album though but gotta give it a few more listens - I did find this a challenging album that demands you sit with its discomfort and I haven't quite done that

Quite heavy to get through it in one spin, it has an interesting atmosphere, but it's too sluggish to truly take off like the debut IMO. It has some great moments though.

^accurate. This was honestly better than I thought it would be but not as good as I’d hoped.

I'm gonna pull the Pretentious card here and say this was disappointing as an album but not as an experience

ngl I have no opinion on the ambient sections of Preacher's Daughter — that album was mid for the way it tied its gauche concept to interminable slowcore capital-s songwriting, so this could go either way

They will probably be upset that this contains songs that are longer than All Too Well
