I wish there was a way to just share the playlist, but here -- 16 tracks, 60 minutes:

I just kept everything in order and dropped the songs that I thought maybe dragged a little. Baby Blue, Realistik Heaven, and Dallas were particularly difficult to drop and would have made a 20 song version of this. Also, Durham City Limit is about as good a closer as the one on the 32 song version, but 24/7 Heaven could also be subbed back in as the closer on a 20 track version. Lots of tracks I'd be okay with moving around or subbing back in (for instance, removing the short sub-2 min songs in favor of some of my begrudging cuts) because this whole thing is a masterclass...But, overall, I think my 1 hour version is an ideal distillation of this rather massive experience that also retains the dreamlike flow/state of the original LP. Lmk what you think, if anyone cares enough to actually playlist this and listen.

Finally getting around to this after seeing it pop up on YouTube over and over.
It's alright. I feel the vibes for sure, but I hate the "lazy" feeling that comes from the style. It bugs me to no end to hear wrong notes in places and shaky tempo changes that arise from this type of music. But I also recognize that this is a very personal opinion because I really don't care for older music from the 60s and such, and this album definitely embodies that era.
There's good stuff here, but I'm not super sold that it's amazing as others say it is. To each their own, I guess!
