Pretty much exactly how I expected it to sound. Production is good, songwriting is very safe, and Neff's cleans fit the mold. One listen was enough. Moving on.

Yeah this is all style no substance totally. Like there’s some technical prowess there, some occasional legit riffs, etc but it just…. Plays. Nothing sticks out. I don’t connect or love anything here. Vocals do nothing. Not bad, not gripping. The melodies are odd and almost identity-crisis-esque. Prob will literally never listen to this again. Nothing burger

This is pretty good. I wouldn't know it was As I Lay Dying just listening to it randomly though. Has the very modern metalcore sound with the whiny clean vocals making too much of an appearance throughout. This is why I prefer Austrian Death Machine from this bloke, he knows how to create great melody and tunes, ADM has all that without the genericore clean vocals.
