I absolutely wasn’t blown away by this on the first run but I’m already more impressed than I was with God’s P, so that’s something(?)

This went in one ear and out the other on my first listen but I do remember enjoying myself in the moment.

I wasn’t planning on a one and done. I’ve given second and even third attempts to things I found less captivating initially

I agree, but also question whether I'd have been so (relatively) positive if State's End (+cramming Luciferian Towers for its release) hadn't effectively made me write this band off entirely

Excited to check even tho their political takes are simple minded

I feel like if the political ideology wasn’t attached to this no one would bat an eye at it but that’s just me

You're hinting at where you stand politically since these guys were known anarchists from the beginning, but go off.
Anyways, I'm halfway through the first listen and I'm really digging Babys in a Thundercloud and Raindrops. First track had me worried that this was going to be dull.

The situation in Gaza is more of a humanitarian crisis and should not be a political stance. But it has become one. I’m just saying the music here is drab, boring, lifeless, and incredibly lackluster in comparison to anything else they’ve done… so, the only thing that this has for it is the stance. I’m sure if it were any other title, if the stance were anything else, or, if the title were completely unrelated to anything going on in the world everyone would be like nah, this sucks and they should’ve quit after Asunder

You can agree with the stance but think the music sucks is ultimately what I’m trying to get around to. I agree with the stance but that doesn’t mean I have to like this

i think you've made that clear

Looks like this is being received much better at rym than here. I'll give it a jam tomorrow.

The humanitarian crisis has been created by the fact that Israel is a genocidal state lmao. Humanitarian crises are almost always linked to political causes
