3 songs in. Ok tracks.

chorus of the opener absolutely tanked any motivation i had to make it through the whole thing. makes even the tedious 50% of Radical sound exciting

listened to like half. idk, it's fine i guess? future proof and servant are catchy. some choruses are pretty cringe though (speechless, oof).

Take me to the timeline where ETID is still together. I dont like this one where Greg is dropping shitty vocals over c-tier ETID riffs while Keith just fucks around in this nothingburger ass band.

this is why band chemistry is so important
you'd think greg with the etid guys wouldn't sound so uninspired yet here we are

"Caught them opening for Thursday and the music was super genericore"
Same here. I thought they sounded better live than on this record but it was all fairly generic. We were probably better off not being able to understand the lyrics when they played live.
This seems tailormade for Sirius Octane. Hard to overstate how just how bland the guitars are on this thing. Keith's vocals the only interesting thing about this to me and the lyrics are just a mess. It's metalcore Breaking Benjamin lol

tracks are cool upon first listen, or, I just like some mainstream southern rock and genericore once in a while.
it's ok for me.

Metalcore breaking Benjamin is literally the perfect description for this shit

That’s what I thought when I listened to it too. But honestly even BB is better than this lol

"Saying Keith was the weakest link in ETID is wild."
THIS.
Keith was arguably the strongest link. He gave the music a personality that followed it around and inspired so many other groups to do the same.
I had to stop reading this review on account of that absurd statement. I can't take anything that comes after it seriously.

Im curious about this. Remember hearing some singles that were alright but can this really be that terrible?

I didn’t mind it, doesn’t seem very memorable but it’s good

Future Proof, Servant and Third have grown massively on returning to the album, it's still just an ok album but it's enjoyable..
I think expectations for Keith's work also hinder my enjoyment here, this feels a little like a heavier less inspired Damned Things

Why are daddy and daddy fighting Q_Q
This literally feels like your divorced dad crashing his outdated sports car into a lamp post and breaking the arm of his new GF that's 10 years younger than him.

damn, this is some limp, dialled-in genericore nonsense. There goes the faint hope we may get another slice of respectable ETID-like material out of this project
not saying I even WANTED that necessarily, just certainly not this

"Future Proof, Servant and Third have grown massively on returning to the album, it's still just an ok album but it's enjoyable.."
yeah those are the only three songs i can see myself listening to tbh. otherwise there are a couple "oh it kinda sounds like etid nice to hear them again with shittier riffs and worse lyrics" moments and a bunch of lame choruses.

the heavy tracks are honestly kinda good, but the clean ones just plain suck. and even then i don't care for most of the tracks aside from Harbinger
