Metaphorical Music stomps Modal Soul. Way better melodies and musical ideas, outside of a few stellar songs on MS. The only real problem with Nujabes’ stuff is the production is whack af when you actually look at the values and compare it directly to other stuff.

I'm digging this a lot. My main issue with Lupe's albums are their length and usually there are some fillers, but this is so concise and great throughout.
Def my favorite hip hop album of 2024 so far (slow year still).
