@MillionDead yes this is a band started by fellow user Bilbodabag and myself

My attempted track ranking (with a few notes on each):
1-Golden (absolutely classic song, perhaps my favorite by the band so far)
2-Fading Fall (beautiful and certainly top 10, maybe top 5, DT tune)
3-Jeremiah Tried (epic closer and definitely my preferred version of the song)
4-Sanctuary (hits me in the gut emotionally, excellent song)
5-Backwards (catchy and I like the dark atmosphere)
6-Wallflower (weird to rank an interlude-ish track this high, but perfect vibe and fits very well between Fading Fall and Golden)
7-Capo 0 Song (I don't find this overly memorable after I listen to it, but still a great opener)
8-Sombor Shuffle (lyrics alternately work and don't for me here, it's become more catchy to me with repeat listens, feels slightly disjointed at times but good tune)
9-Flicker (Pt. 2) (kinda the same issues as Sombor Shuffle, again good song)
10-Flooded Basement (think that the version here is the superior presentation of this song, but it's always been a weaker track in the DT cannon for me, still very listenable though)

I don't think anyone has said that Golden isn't in their top 3. I've never seen such a unanimous favorite like this before.

seems like people are still liking the full album so i'm all for it - plus it makes it easier to make decisions about our setlist lol

Golden is a classic example of our songwriting strategy where we take a couple of ideas that have been laying around since 2017 and then mash em together with a new idea and it somehow becomes a song

This has been growing on me. I think I prefer the style of the previous albums, but this is enjoyable in its own way. It feels humbler in a sense.

man that's how I write all my songs lol. just stapling together old voice notes. glad to know it's not an uncommon strategy.

We’ve definitely done it at least once per album at this point

Album remains on daily rotation for me and continues to steadily grow - still a bit shy of I Could See Midnight Sky, but I prefer this one to All The Stories Left To Tell at this point. It's also my favorite June release besides Alcest.

Best DT for me

Cheers boys! The title track has been picking up some slight traction on streaming services so we’ll see if that goes anywhere

T/T still might be my least fave overall but the 2nd half of it is one of the best moments on the album, also Sombor Shuffle is the best song here
