Never been a big Charli fan but this is fun. Could see it continuing to grow, probably her best work.

@Alex

Legitimately forgot how bad that 72 Seasons artwork is lol Now THAT is a genuine "what were they thinking?" moment

I'm genuinely surprised that people are rating "I think about it all the time so low"

I hadn't really poked my head out to the general discourse around this album because I had a busy weekend and was jamming this in my own little word, but that legitimately might be my favorite track here lol

I maintain that there are no misses here and I find something to love in each track, but if I had a gun to my head I'd probably "apple" is the most anonymous

I really love that lyric and moment in apple: “I think the apple’s rotten right to the core/from all the things passed down from all the apples coming before”. Great little hook there, would probably rate the song higher if it happened again towards the end. But yeah as for I think about it all the time, I think the lyrics are distractingly bad and there isn’t rly a memorably melody or hook to latch onto. As far as the slower tracks go, I think So I and I might say something stupid are a lot better.

“I have a feeling they are more fans of MALE POWER then anything else lmao”

see I think that’s the problem here. That’s the dumbest fucking justification for why people don’t like green square

Intentionally makes an ugly ass artwork that they know people will loathe, and then cry about how they only hate the artwork because people want to see her naked. people don’t like green square because green square is fuckin fugly not because some made up bullshit about why people consume your media

it’s about people’s reactions to the reactions of the artwork not about the artwork

I like this artwork, much better than her sexy ones. The only artwork with a quasi naked woman I liked was Marilyn Manson’s Mechanical Animals.
