I admit that Deserted has songs that don't deviate from one another much, but it's still a banger album because the riffs that they flip, dip, and rearrange is still groovy as hell.

This new one definitely has more variation than Deserted, I'll give it that.

This is an 'ok' album, but I still wish they made more songs in the vein of Emptiness off the last EP. Just crushing melodic doomy shit with flairs of black metal and hardcore. They go down the melodic path a lot more on this one than on previous albums, but it's more in the vein of a cheap ripoff of 90's Gothenburg rather than melo-doom. Really can't get into most of this band's work at all, but Emptiness is a fucking banger of a song and they unfortunately don't fully expand on that in this LP like I was hoping.

if you scroll down a bit further you’ll find that it says:

“mediocre; not very good.”

which aptly describes this lame ass band.

If every track was like the closer it would be an easy 4.5 but man its just too ploddy and the vox really grind my gears lol. Has some good melodies but it all blends together ahrd.

I really like 50% of the album but songs like Dead Star or Superstitious Vision do nothing for me. It's ok the be melodic, but some songs are just bland.
