Hell yeah dude, agreed about this being way better than their last - although the opening track of their last record was straight fire but it kinda got boring for me quickly after that

*scratch that I was thinking of in the minds of evil opening track
Last one didn’t really grab my attention at all, this is def better

"Yeah Serpents and Stench of Redemption fucking rule too"
Especially Stench, their absolute best by quite a margin

Stench is their best agreed but Once Upon the Cross and Serpents aren't far behind. Those albums never get enough love. I prefer all 3 of those albums to Legion and the s/t tbh. This one fucking kicks ass too. Band is so underrated overall.

I am a huge fan of their early work. In particular, "Dead By Dawn", "Revocate the Agitator", and "Confessional Rape" are some of my all-time favorite songs. However, there is nothing groundbreaking in this album. It has some elements from Serpents of the Light, and some of the fancier guitars from the later works. But, I don't feel like there is a lot compelling me to listen to this. I will just keep listening to their first 4 albums, which never get old to me.
