I'm revisiting this in the wake of discovering 94 diskont's excellence (coincidence) and hmm, this is still not quite working for me - the big popping glitches are specifically irksome at times
It's strange because Dok by Oval also clicks in a way that doesn't appeal, yet Diskont is wonderfully hypnotic and chill

4.3 for how impressed at how possible this was / respect value
3.5-ish for ceiling of enjoyment, if I ignore the trepidation re what’s to come
but when some of what you hear literally makes you feel more than a little uneasy (1.0) then what can you do?

The man pours his soul out to the world, baring his inner hidden shell to a judging public. The album is a game changer, polarizing, daring. The mixed feedback indicates this. While some "just don't get it", others realize the magnitude and power of what is being done here. Like most works of art, there is a divided audience initially. People are scared, horrified of the paradigm shift, but yet they are in awe and can't look away, because its unlike anything they've ever heard or experienced in their lives. The album “Diskont” by Oval inspired me to love music again. The album “Diskont” by Oval has redefined what music can be. This album alone is the sole reason why the modern age, the present, is the best time to live in. Any other time, we wouldn't be graced with the opportunity to hear this master work. We wouldn't be graced with the opportunity to be the first to get a glimpse, a taste of this future shapeshifting marvel. My god, what a thrill. An absolute thrill to listen to. I'm glad you got to be a part of it, sput. I'm glad we all got to be a part of it.
