Is there a chorus on this that isn't impossible to get through?

Dafuq the choruses are often the best part.

I'm really interested how these songs will translate live. I think a better production and just a live environment in general will really help the heavy parts
Also: LMFAO that Sleep Token impression at the start of "Abysm"

These guys are obviously talented musicians but they're trying too hard to mix different styles and it doesn't always make sense. Like mixing orange juice with milk and bourbon.

@fatality Glass exists
These dudes announced shows in China before playing any B-market shows in Germany :'D
Would love to see them live, but I've never seen a German band tour domestically like they do. Quite frustrating.

Yeah these guys are so much better live than they are on their studio albums. Fun band, and they play great

rub it in brother :'(
according to setlist.fm they played 19 shows total in Germany so far, 7 of which were festivals. Rest was mostly support for Spiritbox, so obv A market cities. Now 4 shows total in the 4 biggest cities. For comparison: 42 shows in the states, 19 in the UK - not counting the upcoming shows. They even announced 7 shows in China (!!!)
Can someone please remind them they are a German band? What moving to Berlin does to mfs...

okay this might just be stoner brain but this feels like if sleep token wasn’t unlistenable garbage
God that slap bass is fucking outrageously bad though.

This is stupid heavy fun and a part of me really loves it. I am partial to that massive bass tone though.

God awful band agreed.

ok they released an instrumental version online and I'm appreciating the music a lot more now without the vocals, so I may just warm up to this yet

The vocals were definitely the weakest and most annoying part of this album, so an instrumental version sounds nice.

This sounds just so so muddy production wise, almost ruins the experience, but not quite
|

I saw them touring with Tesseract, they weren't bad at all. However the abrupt changes from heavy to mellow parts were a bit jarring even in a live setting.

The two new tracks are very solid. Definitely above the average song on this.

Finally sitting down and listening to this and yep, two tracks in and this sounds like a band trying to use analog production technology for the first time ever.
