It’s ok, bit one tempo Beatles’y at times - loved the atmosphere of the last album so def a step down from that for me.



Good summer release though, suits the season. They’ve been on a very hot run so would say weaker than their last three albums.

Cruel Country is great, I should do a ‘single disc’ playlist of it though to get it in everyday circulation a bit more.



I like them doing their take on ‘true country’



I also dig them being Beatles’y - Summerteeth is my fave of theirs after all

Yeah the new EP definitely fleshes this album out a bit more. I wouldn't have minded if this was expanded to integrate those songs and be closer to another double album. Oh well.
