i kind of agree with hype that this band's achilles heal is progression in its songs, at times feels like a bunch of (admittedly good) riffs stacked on top of each other without going in any particular direction
planetary clairvoyance suffered from this, manor less so

after a first listen through, yeah this is good
going to need a few more to digest, but each song seems to have its own personality at least and the perfect memory is a killer opener
i do actually think if they're going this direction that they could use a few more solos/etc. to act as climaxes for a few of the songs, it seems at times as though that's where it wants to go but it doesn't necessarily go for it

Planet Clairvoyance is still their best for me. I guess I must be that guy who has unpopular opinions very often...

yea the last song is really good. Wish it was all more like that, but overall it was a really cool LP. I like it a bit proggy, it's interesting.

Pretty much what shadow said. I like a riff salad as much as the next guy but I think this would benefit from some more discernible progressions. Manor is still my fav.

Idk, some cohesive songwriting always props up the music, but dm is definitely one of those genres that is completely able to get away with riff salad, like mathcore.
