Yeah, it's really good - been listening to it a ton

i honestly think this might be their best album yet, especially for where they're at right now. like it's nothing mind-blowing but it feels like most songs are the ultimate versions of the cures for opposites sound and others are pushing their sound forward in a rly interesting manner. i'm also glad this has slightly more tracks than their other recent albums (even if this does have their weakest song in a while but w/e) and it's just so nice and pleasant and good and thanks yoyo for reviewing this bc clearly i wouldn't have been very good at it myself lmfao

Thank you for this review. This is officially my Autumn 2023 album. Fuck yes. As someone else wrote, I would've purchased it for the cover alone. Brilliant album.

great read yoyo!! cool lil album fosho

Really cool band; I've enjoyed getting into their back catalogue through this release.

All their stuff sounds really same-y to me, and I struggle to make distinctions between the songs. But it's sort of how like a warm blanket or the cold side of the pillow always gives the same soothing feeling no matter where you're sleeping. Really comforting band.

^10/10

carousel is probably their best closer, it's so niceeee

New EP (Heaven Sent) out today consisting of four B-Sides from this album.

After a few listens, feels like one of the weaker releases in their recent run, but worth checking.

maybe (they are b sides after all) but that synth line towards the end of nadine and all of lean-to are absolute soul cleansers
