This one gets overlooked because Reign was released after, but Goddamnit, Hell Awaits really is an excellent album and the most progressive Slayer ever got. My favorite for sure.

Undoubtedly one of slayer's best and indeed most progressive albums, this features their longer songs, which, for me, make it all the more important to be hailed just as much as any other slayer album released in the 80's. Underrated:P

This is by far one of the most S-I-C-K and W-I-C-K-E-D albums I know, pure horror and nightmare. It's not the Slayer album with the most musical quality though.
