I finally logged in, and took your advice on this album. It's better than the other Black Sabbath album I had. (Master of Reality)

dude fuck you you're fucking gay. ozzy was okay as a vocalist. i'm not saying he's dio or bruce dickinson or something but black sabbath was better when the ozzman was vocalist. now they're just boring. heaven and hell and mob rules were good. but the others are just kinda gay.

Ok, im a Black Sabbath anomaly in tastes
I think Paranoid is kinda boring other than 3 songs
I think their debut is their best album
I like Mob Rules more than Heaven and Hell

Completely agreed on this one. Dio is FAR better than Ozzy, and I honestly have to say he is one of my favourite vocalists ever. The best Sabbath album, easily.

This is a great review.
Dio is vastly superior to Ozzy, vocal-wise.
Ozzy is the man for Sabbath, obviously. BUT, Dio's tenure in the band firmly stands as equally superior to Ozzy's tenure.
"Lonely Is The Word". Need I say more?

I've been going through Sabbath's discography in alphabetical order and finally got to this. Shit is badass so far.

Thats how I tackled sabbath Thor, chronologically.
I stopped after this album, I guess I just burnt out on them. That's not to say this isn't awesome, i've revisted this several times since and enjoy it more and more each time.
Neon Knights is a great opener.

Chronologically =/= alphabetically :thumb:
I just went through a ton of late 80s/early 90s Sabbath which was mostly average material, save for Dehumanizer which I thought was pretty great. This is a breath of fresh air in my epic Sabbath quest.This Message Edited On 11.24.08
