love how this (extremely good) review inevitably generated a thread about the albums it tried to remove this one from the shadow of. spun this a month or so back and vibed it - will go back to it soon

When you release a classic album(s), it's hard to remove your other works from their shadow, no matter how good they are.

Yeah especially when the classic albums are hardly talked about much themselves already.

For some time, I tried to collect all their releases. At some point, I felt betrayed and stopped. It is better that way. Somehow, they released 20 albums that all sound very much alike.
Nevertheless, they released some of the best electronica/ambient in the 90s. This album though is good, but personally, I do not count it as a classic. But a fun listen for sure.
