Not until just now lol. I've heard a few tracks but never the whole thing in one sitting. I have very much been missing out. This is banger after banger.

At least four or five absolute classics here, but I'm not massive on tracks 7-9 I think, need to check again
I didn't realise until I sat and played both recently that I genuinely prefer 'Bad' to 'Thriller' - also that was the one as a ten year old or whatever you got obsessed by in the late '80s, so know it better

Thriller - Beat It - Billie Jean is one of the greatest 3-song runs in any pop album for real

Highkey annoyed theres not a news article about Quincy Jones passing yet. He is the single largest music figure in the past 6-7 decades or so across all genres. His influence is absurd.

Jaafar was really good yeah, pretty tame movie in terms of selective focus, but it’s a good spectacle.

personally enjoyed the hell out of the film despite it being just another standard beat for beat biopic. jaafar was just that good and the music is still that infectious. not sure i'd call it tame so much as rushed. they skipped his really interesting teen years. the sequel will be tame asf because that's the diddler era and there is no way they'll broach that subject. if anything i was a bit surprised by how much they showed in this
