Actually, this record is what In Becoming a Ghost / Autotheism by The Faceless was shooting for but missed the mark on.

Interesting, I don't get The Faceless vibes from this at all.

Album has grown on me a good amount. Definitely a big step up from Dark Future.

Yeah Dark Future had some shit I really enjoyed on it but as a whole only got a handful of spins out of me, this one I actually had on repeat for a hot minute.



Doesn't reinvent any wheels but just a really solid tightly performed fun listen that doesn't overstay its welcome. Also Evan Brewer.

I kinda hated this album on release but it's funny because it might be my favorite release from these guys now. Just a really solid, enjoyable album.

Solid as this is I think I'm enjoying that new EP more, it's got some range on it. Big respect for Chaney in particular who just seems to continue to grow and expand her range. She was really good when I saw them live years back as well.

Yeah it's even more impressive considering the accident she got into that could have potentially ended her career.

The new EP is solid but I think this album is still their best for me
