I don't think it's possible for a new Katatonia record to be "bad" per se, my biggest fear is that they have might be running out of steam in the creativity department. Also Viva Emptiness is the quintessential example of how not to write lyrics. Absolutely some of the most awkward lyrics I've heard on a major release. Still love it though (:

Fall of Hearts might be my favorite album of theirs and that’s saying a lot, since LFDGD, Viva Empitness, The GCD and NITND are all spectacular too. This already kills City Burials which was a slog and Dead End Kings which is overrated imo.
