ugh broken is so fucking amazing. I slept on this on release because it just isn’t as good as Introvert but I really didn’t give this record its due.
Simz is legit one of my favorite modern rappers.

This cuts all Introvert's fat and faff but hits just as heavy (if not moreso) - easily the better record for me, can recall a bunch of great tracks from it (Broken defs up there) despite not having jammed in over a year, would be good to touch base soon

damn I forgot quite how much this is a 7-track album with a handful of bonus tracks slapped on (dig Who Even Cares a lot so idrc, but still wow lol)
those 7 tracks are a tight run though. X is as bland and overemphatic as any of the worst self-care shrugs on Introvert and No Merci is still in one ear and out the other, but otherwise have a lot of time for all those songs individually. could have used a few more grin-breakers like the bars on Gorilla, but those first 3 songs esp are pure class and most of the moody tracks land just right

Not listened to introvert in full for some time but I was fully blown away pretty immeadiety by it which rarely happens for me
This had a slightly less of an impact but I can envisage a world where this holds up slightly better because of the more focused track list
