This blend of core and nu-metal gets me harder than Chinese trigonometry

I can't believe they didn't choose "Headfirst" as a single.

This album, much like Fleshwaters, does things that aren't bad, but I don't feel like there's any substance behind it. But maybe I'm just burnt out on music.

Finally got around to this. Is this as good as Matriphagy? No

Does it still slap? Yeah, some songs are face crushers. Headfirst is disgusting.

Songs do slap, but my personal favorite is Shaken not stirred

tbh this is the most I've enjoyed the metalcore/nu-metal fusion. Fluctuates from 3.5-4.0 but there's much more cohesion and substance than peers, and the songwriting is less of a mess.

Never mind this is as good or a tad better than Matriphagy, on non-stop repeat for me. Love it.

Amazing band, amazing album. Given the quality on display it's a testament to the front man that he is a clear MVP of the band for me. I feel sorry for bands as talented as these that will only ever find a niche audience as the genre they are reinventing has had its day and won't ever return to it's past glory.

Had a dude tell me a month or so ago that Vended, Corey Taylor's son's band, sounds exactly like this. I said "haha good one" and haven't talked to him since
