Holy shit the new hate5six Lamb of God performance rocks butt. It’s no mystery why this band is at the top in metal.

Gotta try this again. That album art keeps calling me back.

It has some solid songs, but still them on autopilot unsurprisingly

The "I'm gonna fuck you up" spoken word Randy does is so cringe

Ngl this album is fucking sick. After hearing Ashes of the Wake I much prefer this. Ashes seems to be more focused on that hardcore punk style rhythms. It's pretty cool, but it just doesn't hold a candle to the chugging grooves on here. This one just feels like a band who have really refined their sound over the years and is simply way better than that average suggests.

This is the epitome of blandness.

Check Palaces for actually sick LoG or Resolution for best "chugging grooves" LoG.

They just put out a new track called Sepsis. First half is the heaviest they've sounded in a while before the second half sort of reverts back to standard LoG fare. But, man, Randy has still fucking got it. And it's nice that they gave Campbell a chance to shine on bass. I want more of those first 2 minutes, though.

New song, "Parasocial Christ", releases on Friday. I really dug Sepsis but I'm still convinced it'll be the only unique outlier in a 11 or 12-track album of general groove metal. But, maybe they'll prove me wrong?

new album art is absolutely abysmal and I can't believe their logo somehow got worse than papyrus

Yeah the album art is certainly a choice but I can't say the new logo is any worse than the OG. Song's fine. Sepsis was the bait apparently; release something relatively fresh and follow it up with more of the same.
