Alchemist definitely is an overrated producer. He's one of those relics of the golden age that survives on his name recognition. His only "talent" is that he has a good ear for samples. Most of the time he just lazily picks some loop from a sample and puts some drums under it. Even on Kendrick's latest album. Compare the alchemist beat on "We cry together" which is just a lazy loop with drums to the production on United in Grief. Alchemist doesn't even compete in the same league

First listen impressions:

Raydar, Crack, and Surround Sound are the best here

But I do agree with some others that the middle drags in places, specifically right after Surround Sound for a while
