Dream Dolphin formed in 1994. Formed as a solo project of Noriko when she was just 14 years old, she caught the attention of music icon and electronica pioneer Haruomi Hosono, who signed her to his new label, FOA Records, in 1995, as one of the first signees. In December of 1995, Dream Dolphin made its debut with the release of its first single "Dolphins Talk to You", and Dream Dolphin then released its first mini-album, "Love-Eating Alien", in February of 1996. Both releases had strong sales, especially the album, and Dream Dolphin would then go on to appear on the "Jump - Hyper Active Techno Vol. 2" omnibus in November of 1996, and impressively release two singles (one of which was used as a theme for Donald Duck), two full length albums and one mini-album throughout 1996. Dream Dolphin's extremely prolific nature paid off, and the project ended up developing one of the largest cult followings in the underground electronica universe by 1997. In June of 1997, Dream Dolphin released its third full length album "Visions/Rebirth/Underwater", its first compilation album, "Kougousei (光合成)", and also later released its fourth full length album, "The Seventh Dream", that October.

While all the albums failed to be as successful as her previous releases just months prior, they still had decent sales, and Dream Dolphin would go on to release two more singles and three more full length albums throughout 1998, making the project hands-down one of the most prolific electronica acts of the 90's in the Japanese underground, when Noriko was still only 18 years old. 1999 would show a slight decrease in terms of extremely prolific releases, although it would still show an impressive total of two full length albums, a second compilation album ("12 Dolphins Leave the Planet: The Best of Dream Dolphin") and another mini-album ("Cloudy Sky Rain and the Rainbow") released. 2000 would continue to show Dream Dolphin's releases slowing down, beginning in January of 2000 with the release of "Frontiers", the project's 10th full length album, which also showed a dip in terms of sales. In June of 2000, Dream Dolphin released its first remix album "Ultra", which also had rougher sales than releases prior. In December of 2000, Dream Dolphin released its 11th full length album "Forest Songs", which finished up their shortest year in terms of releases since its debut in December of 1995. To make matters worse, "Forest Songs" was a major disappointment in terms of sales, with it selling so poorly, copies of it can be scarce to find today, a first in the project's catalog. Presumably due to its drastically decreasing popularity, Dream Dolphin released only one mini-album in 2001: "Healing Tracks", which was released that September. Likewise, the project released only one full length album in 2002: "Earth Music Cafe", which was released that October, and one double full-length album in 2003: "Modern Blue Ambient", which was released that December. All three albums had poor sales, and the Dream Dolphin project then folded in 2004. After Dream Dolphin folded, Noriko then appeared to have retired from the underground electronica circuit.

also, i was being dumb - there was one standalone flac from a version released on a comp, not sure which it is yet but if it's just a yt upload, it'll probs do

real question is Dolphins Talk To You: original (or 2001) version vs. 303 Hyper Acid Remix vs. the Seventh Dream reversion?
