Aside from Radical, 2003-2010 is when all the best ETID albums dropped

This shit RAWKS b!
The only caveat with these guys is that I’m not typically into “party” bands. Sublime has a bit of that and they’re one of my favorite bands, but they also sing about the darker side: addiction. There’s substance.
This shit sounds great and it is PACKED with great lyrics, but….i dunno, it’s difficult for me to fall in love with music that feels kindof one-dimensional substance wise. Could be I just need more listens. I think what I’m looking for is prob in their later albums from what I’ve heard. But this is a PERFECT take a drive and crank it to full blast type album (which I just did). Fucking exhilarating.

Band gets a lot darker as they go on. New Junk, Low Teens, and Radical specifically are wildly depressing. And From Parts Unknown and Ex Lives ain’t exactly picnics either.

This and Big Dirty are very much outliers when it comes to their entire discog imo
