This is my favorite Pinegrove to date. The atmosphere is so lush, yet there's a raw/natural element that keeps it rooted in the Earth. Skylight had a few better individual songs, but I prefer this in its entirety.
I stand by The King Is Dead comparison, although this is decidedly less adventurous and catchy, which makes it more of a mood piece than a go-to listen. Still, there's something to be said for music you can just sink into, and this fits the bill.
