Saints and Snakes echoes the Nailed.Dead.Risen. Brooks gutteral scream was devastatingly good. Alas. The mix isn’t amazing. It sounds like an album from the 90s. I can deal with is but wish the mix was as crisp as previous albums.

New EP was pretty cool. Nice hearing some not overproduced modern deathcore. Also think the newest Whitechapel singles are excellent

doom always deliver the goods, love those chromatic chugs and atmospheric stuff. they always do that so good. we eatin good. so pumped for whitechapel.

I fell off at Violence cuz I wasn't too crazy about it when it dropped. I think its time to a reassessment
|

damn you didn't get to baptized in filth or death will reign? both are incredibly fun. some of the biggest breakdowns you'll ever hear.

I missed out on a lot of 2010s deathcore bc my tastes shifted to other genres and I felt like I outgrew it. In hindsight I find that cringe cuz I still have a strong appreciation for most of my favorites
|
| |
totally get that. but also like 2014-15 is kinda when the genre fell off anyway lol
|
| |
Definitely. It didn't help when I'd check new songs a lot were moving into the overproduced, djent or mainstream territory. Luckily the trve deathcore seems to be coming back
