This release seems to be limited to 1000 copies. The Ethereal Shroud bandcamp already is out of stock, and the Northern Silence bandcamp only had 58 copies left (57 now), so I decided to pre-order. Something I hardly ever do.

chasmal fires - the epic, has a little bit of everything

discarnate - riffs

astral mariner - dooooooom

chasmal fires - NSBM a la M8L8TH, the music video kinda reminds me of Peste Noire's "Le Dernier Putsch"



discarnate - think Full of Hell but he can't remember what his pedals do



astral mariner - noctus reading us "the fellowship of the ring" until we fall asleep, kinda ASMR-style

Checked out Discarnate. It's alright. Assault to my eardrums with a wall of sound, mostly. Wasn't impressed by it. Youtube has a bonus track up that sounded a lot more interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bxz6Eb-JEfQ

the bonus track was written in the same time period as the rest of the record but it didn't fit. Discarnate is the most straight forward of the three songs - everyone seems to have a different favourite.

my favourite is astral mariner, but I'm the guy who made it so mileage will vary

I gave it a couple of whirls already and Chasmal Fires is my favorite for now.

The doooooom parts on Astral are amazing though.

i'm really fascinated to see where the consensus lies. the first record had a more consistent theme running through but here each track is quite different in tone.

one day to go. you have now unbearable the wait has been holding this to my chest. it's been eating me up.

really looking forward to checking this one out, the last one was pretty good

i wouldn't say they're all too comparable. i wiped the slate clean. you can tell it's the same project but i approached almost everything from a different angle and the record absolutely benefitted from it.

i really hope you enjoy it. after nearly 7 years it's gratifying to finally have this finished.
