"My first listen of this was Friday night, driving in a cold sideways rain that was blowing the autumn leaves all across my windshield. I was on all these creepy country back roads, and I was purposely taking roundabout ways to get home so that I could stretch out the listening experience. Absolutely unreal atmosphere to first hear this, but even without taking that kind of subjective stuff into account this is still basically a perfect album. I've listened to it three times now, and I'm convinced that there isn't so much as one mediocre song. This thing just keeps coming at you harder and harder; every track packs its own unique and unforgettable punch. I seriously couldn't even begin to pick a favorite, they're all phenomenal."
Sow is so inspired lately. Metal made him a better person, if that was even possible.

They had some issues comunicating and perhaps too naive to approach a menacing era. Pure hearted tho

I like this rev but this is more cts than previous records (remission, leviathan) and you don t even mention. Also the most Cold Dark Place song is def the Beast.
Boy this intro for peace and tranquility is very blood mountain, capillarian shit....the song is still very good but the inner me wanted for them to keep shredding

Great review!
Started at a 3.5 for me and I had to change it to a 4. It’s addictive and excellent! Favorites are “Gobblers Of Dregs”, “Pushing The Tides”, “Pain With An Anchor”, and “The Crux”.
