So I guess with the release of “New Low” they’re now treating the singles comp as a proper EP with a vinyl release and everything. Was hoping for an actual album but I can still hope one’s coming soon (and I guess I should check Dixieland while I’m waiting instead of complaining about no new album lol).

You're gonna hate what you've done is easily a genre defining song. Instantly became in my favourite ever list.

i do agree tho their songwriting has grown exponentially since dixie. lots of earworm catchiness with the ep

Agreed about the earworminess of the EP, I also feel like Gaval and Boyhtari are learning how to write together better, “Punishment Existence” especially benefits from their doing co-lead vocals (dare I call it a duet??).

And yeah I recently checked out Dixieland and it’s also very good overall with some really great highlights but feels more like generic heave-gaze/Hum clones compared to what they’ve done since. I’m a softboi so love the folky slowcore stuff on the EP but I’m def looking forward to see how they mix that with the heavier gaze side on their next LP (hopefully still coming soon??).

would love for this band to do more duet-style songs. I love the way they trade off lead vocals in "you're gonna hate what you've done"

all solid points boner boy. moving homie to 2nd guitar was a fantastic decision and i think it’s fair to say that their next album has the potential to be a genre classic

took ur words to heart BK and bumped the ep to a 4. if they can somehow merge the song writing with the epic highs and lows here i think we’ll have a modern masterpiece on our hands
