Ofc the 10min long prog "epic" is the clear highlight for Sput

Like it's def one of the better songs here but it's just as boilerplate as anything here

Don't actually think I've heard a full album of theirs since Viva La Vida, so I evidently missed their worst. For whatever reason I got interested in this one, kinda like the album art and the "Coldplay goes prog" narrative was intriguing.

What I don't quite understand is why Coldplay keeps intentionally dumbing down their music. Trouble in Town, Arabesque, and Coloratura are all recent examples of the artistic heights these guys can aspire to but they refuse to commit to it for a full album, always interspersing their work with mind numbingly dull radio pop. I guess it's for the money, but I've never seen a band stand in its own way as much as Coldplay when it comes to having clear avenues toward real artistic acclaim/success and just refusing to take it. I feel like VLV is the last time they really tried at an album, lol.

This really is a shame cause I borderline love Coloratura.

I agree that this is utter bullshit, yet I still sort of enjoy it. I have no defense.

Coloratura is not that good

This is by far their worst, I still think y'all were too hard on AHFOD but this is fucking rough

Chris Martin & Co ?????

It's Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion. Can't remember names of Biggest band of 21st century? or being hater???

Music of the Spheres is not great as previous Coldplay albums, but still good album for most listeners.

Don't worry for them people, the album will do great and their world tour would be a complete sucess!

Still I have to agree with some comments. Coldplay has some beautiful and great songs in all their albums, the issue is that they are diluted by pedestrian radio hits and simplistic lyrics. You need to love them for what they are. They have some great albums like ghost stories or xy.
