From what I've seen Marcus absolutely nails all his harsh sections live, but gets super shaky when it comes to the singing, especially the high notes. Seems like he really pushes himself out of his comfortable range in the studio.

A vocalist I like could sound like doggie doo-doo live and it wouldn't matter to me one bit as long as he/she sounds like an angel in the studio.

This times infinity. This is my biggest knock against him. He needs to sing more within his range (As if it never was as an example) and not outside of it (Reflection Room as an example).
