Yeah, basically agree @onionbubs, not a big Thrice fan but I'm finding this one pretty enjoyable. Nothing incredible but this has been holding up well for repeat listening.

I think this is basically a harsher version of my own opinion. I think the interesting stuff they do far outweighs the more bland moments but definitely think elements of their songwriting aren't really going the distance.

Seems a lot of division on this album. I found TBEITBN pretty lackluster for Thrice, and Palms had some great highs but too many lows. If this is better than Palms, I'll be happy.

Yeah Still Life might be my favourite here.
Also, I echo the earlier comment that Johnny's review is sort of what I think but harsher.

3.2?? Get outta here with that lol. Not their best album but easily their best in a decade

Not gonna pretend this is only three songs from now on. Only come back for the first two tracks and Wine

"Not their best album but easily their best in a decade"
This is such a low bar though lol

It’s their best this decade, not in a decade

Do I dip my toes into this one? I don't even think I heard a song off of Palms and only listened to To Be.. Whatever once.

Buried in the Sun and Still Life are the best here for me, so far
I still need to give this a proper 3rd listen, it's ridiculous to me that there's new Thrice out there for 5 days now and I've only spun it twice...damn Felice Brothers hogging my play count...it doesn't help that this thoroughly disengaged me across those first two experiences lol. That's how Thrice typically works for me though, so I'm sure in due time this will be a 4 and I'll be adding it to my 2021 list just like I did with Palms.

Buried in The Sun and Still Life are certainly the strongest on this. And the opener
