I think it has a sophisticated tapestry that weaves together and the melodies are underrated. The one thing I expected was more emotion - it is heard on the title song and some others but she’s often blasé. The shortness of the songs helps prevent it from being too homogenous. A successful album and one I will come back to, but probably my least favorite of her albums.

Breadwinner caught me off guard since I was under the impression the breakup was super amicable. This wasn’t very great and also wasn’t very country, just some standard brow average pop album.

yeah, no, i actually like this one a lot better than her last album. This is very moody and goes down really smoothly. Is it a little forgettable? yea, sure. But it's classy, i can forgive it.

This is fine but I really miss the wittiness/playfulness from the first two albums. That was what I was missing the most from Golden Hour and that's what I'm missing here
