All their stuff is super professional. In case you didn't know, Sven is a designer, so he pays a lot of attention to the band's horror-centric image/aesthetics, as well as all those tiny technical details surrounding the band's music.

"This band takes a lot of shit and they re better than most (if not all) of their peers. Maybe because they re Belgian idk"
Oh definitely
Saw them live once supporting Revocation, they're not entirely my cup of tea but there's no denying how incredibly tight they are.

Their riffs are a bit basic
I prefer Cannibal when it comes to execution tbh

'Basic' is not the first thing that comes to mind when I hear these guys' riffs.

I like this band a lot and I actually met Sven a few years ago after seeing them live. Should probably give this a listen as I know I'd probably dig it.

That's nice dedex. Belgium is a central European country that I have yet to visit. Its countryside must be particularly interesting.

Nice review and good record. The more black-tinged elements (more tremolo picking/synths) are certainly a plus for their sound and there are some seriously good songs on here, but I feel this is their "worst" album in their run since Global Flatline. I think the previous albums had more memorable leads; some of the stuff on here feels a bit samey to me.
However, this is still some quality stuff and Aborted for me are indeed the tightest band I've ever seen live (each of the four times).

yah we got more beers than butterflies tbh

"Its countryside must be particularly interesting."
Still, better check out the cities and the beer first ;]
